The creators have announced another new island! (drum roll)…
Poptropolis Games is set in the ancient capital of Poptropica, which rises out of the sea every 100 years to host an Olympic-style tournament. This is going to be one exciting island! In other news, Twisted Thicket Island will be available to everyone on May 2.
The Poptropica Creators have just announced a new feature that is coming soon to Poptropica: Poptropica Friends! Players will be able to create a personality profile, “friend” other people that they meet in common rooms, and show off their achievements. Sounds a lot like Facebook, doesn’t it? Here is the official trailer for this exciting Poptropican feature:
In other news, Twisted Thicket Island will be available for members on Thursday, April 12. You can see the official countdown on the Poptropica homepage.
Vampire’s Curse Island, Poptropica’s 25th island, was released for members (those who pay a monthly amount to gain access to special features such as early island access) a few days ago. Non-members can play a limited portion of the island, which centers around the player saving a young villager from the evil vampire Count Bram. Here’s the plot summary from the island’s home page:
-For centuries, a truce has existed between the people of a remote mountain village, and the vampire who lives in the castle high above. Now, that truce is shattered, and Count Bram has captured a young villager. Can you rescue her from his evil clutches — and avoid being struck by the vampire’s curse?
The vampire is probably named Count Bram is because ‘Dracula’, the most famous vampire novel of all time, was written by Bram Stoker.
